Democrats appear set to approve a $739 billion funding bill to address health care, climate change and deficit reduction:

Democrats claim the package will reduce carbon emissions by 40% by 2030. The boast seems to be exaggerated about what would be accomplished in just eight years, but the bill would provide significant funding to address the climate crisis.

Included in the package would be a $7,500 tax credit for purchasing an electric car.
