After stupidly giving photos of undercover police officers to a journalist, Los Angeles is suing him and a nonprofit group to crazily try to force them to remove the images from the internet:

The toothpaste is out of the tube. It is too late now to do anything about the idiotic decision to release the photos to a journalist. Trying to censor the news media won’t do anything to protect the police officers.
