Current generations will be the last to see vast beautiful forests with healthy populations of wildlife:

Future generations will see thousands of square miles of industrial mega farms and smelly feedlots/ranches where diverse forests had been, polluted sprawling cities housing billions of terrified people, and fetid oceans with vast dead zones where nothing but algae can live. Of course, we already have all of that, but the difference will be that this hellscape will take up most of the planet’s surface and waters. And there will nothing we can do about it, as it will be too late to save the planet.

Or, we could take strong action now. But we will not. Instead, we will not do enough in time to avoid catastrophic loss of forests and increasing sea level rise:
